Just got my grades in and I passed everything~!
Gothic Horror was a B-
Grammar and Italian were Bs
and Astronomy and Short Fiction were As.
I'm so relieved and so happy because I was so freaking worried about some of my classes. I must have finished stronger then I thought. (time to relax finally)~!

I just went to see "Rocky Horror"
How they do it at school is the film goes on in the back ground and there are actors playing it out at the same time in front.
And the lead actor's legs looked damn fine in fishnets.

Epps~ I've been so busy this weekend that I forgot I had an exam in Italian 202 tomorrow~!
It's fully of complicated thing-y-er-s that I don't understand. So.... yeah...
Can we say doomed to fail?
I really really need to pass Italian this semester, cause it's my last one unless I fail it entirely. Which would suck - because I hate Italian class.

But said distraction from studying was my mother, who finally visited me~!
We went hicking around the gorges/falls of Ithaca and took pictures~! (But damn do my legs hurt now).

We also went to an awesome book sale~! I got a few children's books that I adored as a kid. "My Father's Dragon" "A Castle in the Attic" and "Grimm's Fairy Tales"
Yeah-yeah I'm a kid at heart.
My mom got me some asain cook books~ I'll probably end up buterching the recipies in attempts to make them~ It shall be interesting.

On another note... this past Wednesday the Dalai Lama was at Ithaca College~! I didn't get to go to his speach but I watched it on the school's live webcast. It was....interesting and amuseing.

Um.... yeah.... I think that's all?

So I had no rest last weekend, a long ass week, no rest this weekend, and a long ass week ahead of me - as this week is mid-term. Oh joy~
I just find myself apathetic to it all for the most part. Then when the last minute comes I get franticly stressed.
Mallory's dad came up this weekend, took us out for brunch, food shopping and made us dinner. I have no idea what he made but it was good.
I made my velvet cake for dessert, but as I was out of red food coloring I used green~ It looks so strange, but that didn't stop it from being good.
I still have about three hours worth of work to get done for tomorrow and that doesn't include re-writting my short story for fiction class. I've already worked on it, but i re-read it this morning and found so many places that need to be added to or information that I left out that would make it easier to understand. (Le sigh)
So I must work....
Wish me sanity~

So yeah...typical saturday in which I did nothing. So all homework will/must be done in the few hours of Sunday...damn. I have: Grammar reading and two exercises, two Italian exercises and two video exercises, a short story due for Fiction and two shortr story reviews; and about 60-70 pages for Gothic Horror to read.
I made apple pie today~ It looks good. (It's still cooling off so I don't know how it tastes). But some of the juice spilled over in the oven and burnt to the bottom. (Sad puppy face). It's going to be hell to clean.
Sachi called my from the Big Apple City in which she's going to a bar now that she's legal~! She going with friends and friends of friends~ But I got distracted at the end of call and I no know if I said good bye before hanging up~ Opps~ (Innocent face~!)
Um..... right~
My room mate is putting in Legally Blonde the Musical....... someone save my sanity~!!!

I just got back from DeerTrees Theater, we saw 'After Reny's: The Sequal' A musical.
A teacher at my high school wrote the music for it~! And in less then two months~! Impressive. He's really really talented.
Also my old spanish teacher/advisor/musical director was an actor in it. I was so not prepaired for his...er... entrance in the second act.
He was the "choreographer"... a gay one. It brought tears of laughter to my eyes.
I also saw one of my old english/writing teachers there, and a classmate.
Found out he plays at a club/pub in the town near my current school. Crazy how the world works sometimes, ne?

Weee~! Today was so awesome~! Classes aside anyway.
Tamora Pierce came to my college today and I was able to meet her~!
There was a lunch thingy that only 15 people were able to attend and I was one of them.
She sat at the head of the table but half way through she moved down to the middle of the table because some of us couldn't hear her. She was then right across from me. I ashamedly sat in stunned silence the whole time.
She is such a nice and funny lady.
She shared so much about her writing and her characters, past and future works~!
I got a book signed~! Wild Magic, because that is my favorite by her.
I lent many of my books written by her to a friend of mine and never got them back. So the book that got signed didn't have the same cover... ma... *shrugs* Now I just have to go about rebuilding my library~!
Her characters talk to her~ Mine don't yet.. ma... they might some day~!
*is still in shock* - so is now speechlessly going back to her homework.
Who the hell needs to write a sesstina?
Appanrently I do... two of them... *groans*

Well my neck is still sore from pulling the muscles the other night.
Nothing realy new happing, work is starting to pile up in my classes.
Thank the Gods that I won't have Italian tomorrow. Not a clue what my teacher is doing or where she is going but she won't be at school so no class, because college teachers don't believe in substitutes. Yay!
I have two poems to write inspired by a dead spruce branch, and a short story that starts with the line; "I'm a second grader with the mind of a fifth grader." What the Hell? I don't remember the thought processes of a fifth grader, let alone a second! Er.
I'll b.s. something.
I've had the urg to cut again today. A really strong urg. But I was in the middle of doing my reading for my Critical Practice class and by the time I finished it had passed.
Now I'm just wasting time and talking with mia amica on the phone.
But I should be working.
Oh Well.

I must have slept wrong or something. I have a grand total of THREE pulled/strained muscles in my neck. Yes they are three seperate muscles. I have a very limited range motion still and it has been fifteen hours or so. I've tried messaging them. And the walks to classes have been cold enough to stand in for icing them. I hope they are gone by the time I wake up.

And Italian's a Bitch.

This is a little Rant/Speech I wrote after attending a Music/dedication Recital to the late M.L.K. Jr.

It is a dream that has never been fulfilled. And at this rate may never be fulfilled. That dream is America. Land of the Free. Where people could lives, as they wanted, have their faith as they wanted, watch their children grown unhindered of chains that their former life styles would have bound them by. A land of dreams, that has done little but disappoint.
The Land of the Free and of Dreams has the history of The Land of Blood and Prosecution. Currently so at odds within and with out of itself that peace is a feather light hope, existing with little weight behind it.
People exist in America, most without really living. Drones in careers, their hopes and dreams programmed and formatted through the monotone fuzz that has descended on our society. How long does the average dreamer last. A true dreamer: one with fresh unique ideas and aspirations. How often are they dashed? Snuffed out before they can truly begin to burn and scorch their marks on human life.
Persecution is the product of intolerance. Intolerance runs through the veins of America, unjustly tainting the members of society against one another. This poison envelops the mind, making the actions of people immoral and violent. Intolerance blocks understanding, hinders acceptance, and prohibits the habitants of America from reaching the Dream. Freedom. Equality. Individuality.
In order to reach these Dreams we the people of America need to unit. Not uniting only those that share a political or religious view, not dependant on race or ethnic, not because of a similar life style. But because united we can flourish. We can dream our own dreams and know that we are supported. We can raise each other to greatness as we rise up to greatness. We can look upon a stranger and call him friend without fear or suspicion.
We can watch our children grow up without having to worry for their safety. We can encourage their dreams; no more having to tell them that something cannot be done, that they might want to think of something else to dream about. No more would we have to tell them that something is not possible. Children are the future; their dreams will shape the future. They will change the world as we know it and make it their own, they can make it a bright future, if only we can lay the right path. Give them the starting bricks needed to obtain any dream they desire.
History cannot be changed. It is dark with horrors and bloodshed. But despite this life is salvageable, the future is salvageable. Uniting together we can overcome intolerance. But you must be willing for this change to happen. You must embrace it as you would your family member, as you would your lover: whole-heartedly, with no reservations. Be free from intolerance, then you can be free from prosecution, and then those of America can Dream and be Free.
That is all we really want in life; that is all we truly need: the freedom to dream our dreams, and the freedom to live our lives; wherever our dreams may guide us.

So, erm, yeah.

Well... I had another LJ. This one was for an rp I had joined. But it had died. And I liked this LJ Name, so I changed it around and made it my main LJ.

Tomorrow is the first day of classes for my second semester of sophomore year here as the brisk hill top school of Ithaca.

I'm taking two English courses, two Writing course, and Italian 201 to top it off.
I Fucking hate language courses, but it is bloody mandatory for an English Major to take four semesters of the same freaking language. Why oh why did I pick Italian? I'm doomed. I have already taken (and passed) two semesters of the damned language, and I still don't know anything. It also just happens to be my second class of the day tomorrow. Damn.

Yeah, I don't really want to be at school. And it is a waste of money to remain here. This education is so not worth the tuition. But hey, I'm an unmotivated teen what can you really expect from me but to be the lazy bitch and just remain here. I really need a psychologist, or really strong (legal) mind altering drugs.
